The Company was established by Willis Walker, a professional sportsman who played cricket & football in the 1920s & 30s. He was a high scoring batsman for Notts. C.C. & Goalkeeper for Bradford Park Avenue & Leeds City (now United). In 1921 he opened a sports shop in Keighley, West Yorkshire.
